What’s going on at 6-string-videos??

Well..lots of stuff going on actually.

Jerry is working away on three big projects at the moment.

He’s still producing content for the fingerpicking videos and
he’s also working on the Folk Songs mentioned below.

And he has a secret (til now) project producing
some simple rock and roll/blues/12 bar videos
for all you fans who want a quick repertoire of this
type of music.

I’ve been busy developing the new classified ads site
which is about ready to place free ads on if you want
to give it a try.

The BIG LIST of our videos is almost done too and
is proving to be very popular….and has long been needed.

I am planning to make some Celtic Guitar Videos which is
something I have been putting off for far too long.

Please comment below if you would like to come to a
one day workshop/chat/whatever with myself and
hopefully Jerry if we can drag him away from the Spanish sun!!

I’m looking at venues near motorways to make it easy for you
I can’t wait to meet you!

Let us know what you think/want/hope for/aspire to

Or whatever you’d like to say….we love you guys and
we listen to whatever you tell us.

Warm regards Mike Herberts & Jerry Lamberth

    Dear Mike and Jerry,

I wanted to telephone one of you to tell you that Jerry’s video of “Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right” is very good – he explains each measure slowly and clearly, and explains the tricky little hammer on, early in the piece, very clearly. (Somebody else who has a website doesn’t explain that hammer on as clearly as Jerry does.)

Sorry I don’t have your phone number – so now you have my thanks in writing!

    Best regards,

    Philip Glaser

Any chance you could include some Levellers songs? Not strictly celtic I know, more punk/folk but it does have a celtic edge in a lot of their music. Anyway, if not in this release then it would be great if you do some Levellers stuff in the future.

    Thanks
    Steven

    Mike, Jerry,
Great update, Celtic, Fingerstyle, R&R, Blues,12 Bar – all spot on.

Now Mike, when are you going to get off the fence and do a tutorial Vid for ‘May You Never’ by John Martyn, I know it’s a favourite of yours, come on share the ‘Master of tutorial’ skill on the late, great ‘John’. I’m sure you’d have have a seller there, maybe mix it up with some other “Pentangle, Fairport Convention, John Renbourne’ etc.
All the best to you both, look forward to ALL your ‘magic’ tutorials in 2012,
    MikeCee from Australia, :-)
